I am a freelance editor and writer, specializing in architecture, design and travel. I am back in Germany, after 18 years in the United Stated — most recently in Boulder, Colorado, where I was editor in chief of ALPINE MODERN, a beautifully printed coffee-table quarterly and later online magazine exploring elevated living in the mountains around the world. My work has been published internationally in magazines, trade publications and online publications, including Alpine Modern, Dwell.com, Apple News, Solar Novus Today, GEO Reisen, ICON magazine blog, Boulder Lifestyle magazine and many more.
My 25-year media career straddles the U.S. and Europe and includes stints as local reporter at daily newspapers, staff writer at a national women’s magazine and marketing executive at a major U.S. university.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in sociology and political sciences from the Universität Konstanz, Germany.
